How to order?
We have a dedicated shop on the Malley Sport website where you can order at certain times of the year. The shop opens for 2 weeks in spring and again in autumn. In 2024 the shop will open on the 11th of March and will be open for 2 weeks, with orders to be delivered by 10th May. The shop will open again on 23rd September 2024 for 2 weeks, with delivery in time for Christmas.
All items are custom made in batches so orders take 6 weeks to be delivered. It is important to note that you cannot order outside these times.
Why buy Irish Dance teamwear?
It is not essential for our dancers to purchase our Irish Dance Teamwear but we do find it fosters a sense of belonging.
One of the main themes of Aistear (the Early Childhood Curriculum Framework in Ireland) is that of Identity and Belonging. Belonging is seen as having a secure relationship with or a connection with a particular group of people. Aistear suggest “When children feel a sense of belonging and sense of pride in their families, their peers, and their communities, they can be emotionally strong, self-assured, and able to deal with challenges and difficulties. As step dancing itself is mostly a solo activity we feel it is important to promote camaraderie in any way we can. Teamwear is a great asset to nurturing team spirit. We encourage all our dancers to show their support for each other in class and at competitions. You can read our Code of Conduct here.
Feis Dresses
We also have a class Feis Dress and an EXQUISITE Leotard and Skirt available in the shop.
Please speak to Niamh before purchasing these. We have sample sizes for children to try on as these need to be the right fit to wear in competitions.
