After School Classes
Scoil Rince Banbha are delighted to teach afterschool Irish Dancing classes for children in Scoil Oilibhéir.
We have classes on Friday for children from Naíonáin Bheaga and Naíonáin Mhóra in Coolmine Sports Complex at 1:45. If a child attends Réaltaí Órga we can organise for them to be collected and brought over to Coolmine and back.
After school classes will cost €11 per class but will be paid by the term. (If children attend one of our other classes during the week we can offer a discount.)
Children from Rang 1 – Rang 6 can attend classes on Monday afternoons from 2.40 until 3:45 in the school hall. Please contact us to book Monday class.
Other Beginners Classes
We run beginners evening classes in Scoil Oilibhéir on Tuesday from 5:45 – 6:45 pm.
We also run a Saturday class in Luttrellstown Community Centre at 2:30 pm.
If your child is attending our Tuesday or Saturday class they can come after school at a reduced price. Contact us for discount code.
Once children know their first few dances that move to our intermediate classes.
If your child is more serious about Irish Dancing and want to compete at a high level we recommend they attend more then one class a week. We reserve places for children from Scoil Oilibhéir in our other classes. Please get in touch to see what class would suit your child.
About us
Scoil Rince Banbha is registered with An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha, the oldest and largest governing body for competitive Irish step dancing globally.
Dancers with Scoil Rince Banbha are actively involved in dancing competitions. Over the years dancers have also competed across Ireland, in England, Scotland and America. Our school has also been represented at the Irish Nationals, All Ireland Championships and the World Championships. As well as in competitions our dancers have represented Ireland at many international festivals throughout Europe.
But some children just come to class as they love to dance. They do not want to compete and that’s fine too!
