Background to Clara & Conor
Clara and Conor is an initiative of An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha. CLRG understand the importance of keeping young dancers engaged, involved and unified during the COVID-19 pandemic. They want to engage with beginner dancers throughout the world during this current pandemic and beyond. Two characters have been created for young grade level dancers to identify with … a voice for the dancers!
The artwork was created by Irish Dancing teacher Shelley Locklier.
The aim of the characters is to assist in keeping the younger dancers engaged- they are the future of Irish dance!
