We run beginners and intermediate/advanced Irish Dancing Classes and cater for children from 2 years. 

We are based in Dublin 15 with classes in Luttrellstown Community Centre, Scoil Oilibhéir & Coolmine Sports Complex.

When our dancers reach the required level they can choose to compete in Feiseanna (competitions) or Grade exams so move on to an intermediate class. Some children are serious about competing so we offer advanced classes and workshops.

FAQs

At what age can my child start Irish Dancing?

We take children from 5 years in our beginners classes (or children who are 4 and have started school) . At this age most children able to learn the basic steps. We also offer an option for children ages 2+ where we introduce the language and movements of Irish Dancing.

How much are your classes and how do I pay?

Our classes are €9.50. Children pay per term. They register and pay online through our booking system.

Do you offer a trial class?

Yes, children can pay for 1 class and if they like it you can then register and pay for the remaining classes in the term.

Does my child need Irish Dancing shoes to start?

No, when children are starting off there is no requirement for them to buy dancing shoes. They should wear runners, but no tight jeans. If after a few months your child is enjoying classes then you should consider buying Irish Dancing Pomps.

Do I stay with my child for the duration of the class?

At our ReelTots classes all parents stay for the duration of the class. At the beginners classes parents do not have to stay, although parents of younger children sometimes like to stay for the first week or until their child settles in.
